About
Ryan Connolly is an architect with more than ten years of experience working on complex and ambitious projects. He is currently a director at the award-winning office of Thomas Phifer and Partners in New York.
Ryan’s experience includes new buildings and renovations, apartment remodels and combinations, homes, public buildings, and offices. He is adept at navigating complex sites, programs, and regulatory approval processes, including the New York City Department of Buildings and Landmarks Preservation Commission.
At Thomas Phifer and Partners, he is currently overseeing the construction of the Wagner Park Pavilion in lower Manhattan and the design of several residential projects in upstate New York. He has also been closely involved in the firm's complex international projects, including a tower currently under construction in Bogotá, Colombia, and the Museum of Modern Art recently completed in Warsaw, Poland.
Ryan holds a Master of Architecture from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University. He is a registered architect in the states of New York and Ohio.
Ryan volunteers in the Architectural League of New York and Ohio State University student mentorship programs. He has also served as an invited juror on design reviews at the City College of New York, New York Institute of Technology, Pratt, Lehigh University, Cornell University, University of Virginia, and The Ohio State University.
